Bob Hardy
Since 2004 Bob has been archiving Eugene Halliday's material on the Internet (see Links on the Home page). He is continually upgrading the quality of the audio files and written work, which is available for free download. Bob started work with Zero Mahlowe to produce audio versions of Halliday's writings, which she is continuing with Samuel Lelonek.
Alan Roberts
He has a doctorate in English Literature and has taught Yoga since 1970 and lectured for various groups on Shakespeare, comparative religion and associated subjects, since that date.
Alan met Eugene Halliday in 1971 and studied with him until his death in 1987. It is his ideas and influence that continue to be the mainspring of Alan's work and the methodology of his classes and talks.
Bob Hardy and Alan are involved in the archiving of the transcripts and the recording of Eugene Halliday related material for access via the web. Alan and Hephzibah are working on wider talks to introduce Halliday's work to a new audience. They all find Halliday's audio material, together with ensuing discussions, to be a valuable introduction, as most people initially became interested in his work and ideas by meeting him and attending his lectures.
Shibat Whardell
Shibat is a designer with an interest in 3D virtual reality and multimedia. He has been an active participant in the Society for over 35 years.
Shibat became editor of 'The Halliday Review' and, together with his wife Ana, helped the Society's meetings to keep going, after David Mahlowe's death in 1998. He is a regular speaker at St Luke's, and has been working to develop the Society's website.
Margaret Littler
Margaret's has worked tirelessly for many years, preserving the audio recorded work of Eugene Halliday. This includes re-recording deteriorating magnetic tape recordings, transferring these recordings to more lasting CDs; and preparing verbatim transcripts which contain diagrams given at the original lectures. Margaret says,
I do not edit Eugene's work, just take out the coughs and sneezes!
